I’ve always wanted a website for myself. I finally did get one last year. But that was the end of it. I did manage to link the website to a blog that I try to keep updated. That was because that’s the only up-to-date content I had. Then, I suddenly realized that I do have content to share, not just on my blog but here too. So, keep looking for updates on the home page about all the things I’m going to try to innovate on this site.

Unfortunately (or fortunately), I didn’t configure my hosting account for an Apache server and hence I thought I could not install WordPress . I have IIS running, so I googled around a bit and discovered that BlogEngine.NET is a pretty decent open source .NET blogging platform. And this is one of those things I mentioned I’ve been wanting to try with this website.

So, I installed BlogEngine.NET and I still have the site running on BlogEngine, but then I wanted to experiment with WordPress. So, I went ahead, downloaded WordPress and installed it, just hoping that it would work. And it did!

Please feel free to go around this new and improved (hopefully) site and let me know if something is seriously wrong (Like someone hacking this website. Although, I don’t see that happening in the near future). I will soon move all my blog posts here and I guess I won’t need to link my domain hosted blogger here. Also, this new blogging platform gives me the chance to explore widgets and themes and I’m really excited about it.
